The Windsport Catparts Traveller Series for 2007 was largely dominated by Kevin Dutch (Seasalter) and Charles Watson (Halifax). Kevin Dutch walked off with the Overall TT Series, Una Rig and Southern Championship. Kevin also was the only sailor to complete all of the 5 events that were sailed and only the lack of wind at Grafham meant he was unable to complete all six events. Unfortunately, the lack of wind at Grafham meant we lost the biggest TT of the year and a number of people needing to sail to qualify for the series failed to do so. Amongst whom was Martin Searle of Seasalter Sailing Club who missed out on the Sport Fleet TT Trophy, which as a result wasn't awarded this year. The series was well attended with Thorpe Bay leading the way with 26 attendees and then followed by Carsington and Seasalter. With a total of 61 individual competitors taking part. The unsailed Grafham Cat Open had 30 people registered and we were the largest class at the event. The Winter Traveller series starts at Stewartby on Saturday 3 November.
