\'C\' grade trainers arrive at their course with a bag of ideas, a few shock and awe tricks, spout their stuff and leave; \'B\' grade trainers ask what the trainee wants to learn, agrees, and runs with same agenda they\'ve been using for the last ten years. \'A\' grade trainers blend what the trainees say they want with what they already know the trainees are going to ask for and what is possible. Well the gods shone on us again and provided excellent weather for early April and for the two-day training session at Seasalter SC. The high winds of Friday were still trailing on Saturday morning but by delaying the sailing start for an hour the last of the F6 gusts disappeared and we had a sunny afternoon of F3-4 with a few gusts. 177) Event News: Winter 2010 Series - End of Series Report

The Sprint 15 winter traveller series was concluded at Grafham on Sunday 20 March on a pleasant spring day with a 23 boat entry. We managed to sail 4 of the 5 events but we failed to sail the Carsington event despite two attempts. The first attempt was postponed because the lake was frozen in the big freeze in December and the second attempt was blown out in strong winds in early February. 178) Event News: TT at Grafham Water Sailing Club - Race Report

On Sunday 20 March the final event of the Sprint 15 fleet winter series was held at Grafham. 12 visitors joined 11 sailors from the home club on a pleasant spring day with a force 2 to 3 South West breeze. The Race Officer, Ian Paterson, set a large rectangular course which gave the fleet some tight reaches as well as a true run to test their mettle. more..

On Saturday February 19th the Sprint 15 fleet visited Queen Mary for the fourth event of their Winter Series. The weather on the day was distinctly chilly and overcast and to cap it off, a light drizzle was falling.
