Yachts and Yachting classes

Post by Liam »

We are the only catamaran class that have continuous lines on the graph of Nationals attendance. And we have two of them - at the top of the list.

The only other classes that had Nationals in 2020 were the Aeros and ILCA 4s.

But none of the others had a Jenny.

Great stuff.
It also looks like we have been getting similar attendances to the Dart 18. Years ago they used to get double our Nationals attendance. These days it looks like we trade places to be top dog (cat).
Well done Jenny

This is great to see. Last year's Nationals * 2 were only in small part due to my stubborn refusal to give up on them. Mainly they were due to NDYC and Grafham for making them happen and the competitors for turning up!

It would be great to reverse that overall declining trend in Nationals attendance though. Hopefully we can notch it back up again at Windsport and Restronguet next year! Sport Nationals looking healthy as ever.
