I see I am entered as a "sixty plus" competitor. May I please be demoted to only the "fifty plus" brigade? I know I look like I've had a hard life but, honestly, I'm not yet such an old codger!!

Good point, George. Being in the "Senior" gang disqualifies you from getting a prize in the "Juniors", despite still being "50+" .

Quite right too. You have earned #7
Cheers

PS The 15 thing all started when I had big bow numbers I had to been given at a Rutland event. Once having them stuck on my boat the incentive was to justify not taking them off. :D

The A Class Nationals are a week and a bit from the SP15's at Pentewan so we'll be bringing two boats.

I'm trying to persuade one of the girl's to sail two up with me, but trolley dollying seems to be more appealing for some reason (nothing to do with trying to sink #19 at Phwelli I hope)

As for the more serious Karting event, Jacob has been in fine training testing out the pubs and clubs of York this last year so I know he's feeling fast - or is that a different type of boat race??

Mark, if it helps persuade, I will be sailing with my eldest girl (Daisy age 12). the more the merrier for a two up challenge :D

Neil you only lasted two days at the top, but you did save money by getting your entry in before this Saturday.

Neil, there may be a solution.

At Thorpe Bay after a couple of beers, Stewart Pegum and I discovered that we were likely to be the only entries from our home clubs at the Nationals.

Given the competitive nature of the number of entries from each club at the Nationals it was decided that for a small fee we would be available to become a member of any club who wished to increase their attendance at the National.

One very competitive sailor has offered his services based on results achieved.

Any interest from Beaver, Grafham have already made an offer. :D
