Tiller Length [Bob]

Hi Chris,
The Dart 15 is a one design boat. An adjustable tiller is not in the class rules. For standard format sailing the tiller is the length of the one you buy with the boat from the Laser Centre - mines at Grafham - I'll measure it at the weekend and put the length on this web site. For Sprint format (ie with the trapeze) a longer tiller is allowed. We have never been precise about the length. Most people buy a Dart 18 single handed tiller and shorten it by 4-6 inches. This ends up in the range 2.3 - 2.4 Metres.
Cheers
Bob
