Anyone got some red hot tips for sailing up wind sprinting.
Reaching and down wind is OK, but cant seem to gain much, nothing to be honest, upwind against standards.

Sprinting up wind [Bob]

Bob replied:

Hi John,
You should ask Bill Tusting - he thrashed me on Saturday when it was windy in the Grafham Club Championships. It all went pear shaped when the wind dropped on Sunday, so we were both as near to the back on Sunday as we were to the front on Saturday. (Bill got 2 x 2nd on Saturday to a 49er but only 26th & 18th on Sunday) Bill was 5th overall. We had 8 Dart 15s out on Sunday. Where were you?
Cheers
Bob Carter
PS Don't forget the Grafham Cat Open 14 & 15 October. Even Stuart Snell might come!
