Sad news - Joe Armstrong

Post by Ed Tuite Dalton »

Keith Heason has asked me if I could post this on his behalf.

It is with great sadness NDYC have to report the passing of Joe Armstrong last week. Joe was a great fleet captain and heavily involved with all things Dart from the early 1980s.
He sailed his Dart 15 well into his 70s, and was considered a legend amongst Dart 15 sailors near and far.
RIP Joe.

This is sad news & Joe was indeed a lovely fella. Had a few pints with him @ NDYC over the years.

I'd dare to say he had a long & interesting life all of us would be more than pleased with.

RIP Joe.
