Grafham this weekend

Post by DavidGroom »

Looks good weather for hearty breakfast eaters on Sunday. Who is coming to help me scare the muesli eaters and Show them what upwind boat speed can be achieved when both butt cheeks are over the side?

Catbert will be there too! Her helm reserves the right not to sail if it hits 30 knots though.

Yes 30 knots is tricky and might even involve dropping the traveller a tad he when going upwind

Paul won again. Results here: http://www.sprint15.com/events/EMS/event.php?id=157 . Robert Finch was second ahead of Steve Sawford. Somebody called David Groom was fourth. Must have been fluky wind.

Paul also wins the series despite his 14 pound handicap. Steve and Jenny ended up second and third.

Or sufficient wind to keep south island lightweights away!

We prefer 8 knots in the sub-tropics.
