Received several new toys today.
Gone for a big wheel trolley with knobbly tires and a handle from Windsports (hoping for some sailing from a beach near Bideford, Devon end of the month). Plus the appropriate skeg protectors.
Also some extras as we have changed car to a Citroen Dispatch van. So the higher and adjustable mast support for our trailer, again from Windsport. Then for when we tow the caravan we have roof bars from Rhino, the aero Kammbars (capacity to carry 2 Sprint 15's using 3 bars on the roof for future expansion potential): http://www.rhino-roof-accessories.co.uk ... atch-07-on
To make loading the Sprint 15 onto the roof rack easier we have a Rhino Rack (different company) Universal Side Loader: http://www.rhinorack.com/products/water ... oader_rusl if we do end up carrying 2 Sprint 15's then 2 of the hulls will need to be right way up which will mean creating some hull cradles.
It does mean we have to carry a step up platform to reach the car roof, but a small price to pay. Towbar to be fitted this week with rear seats, windows, and lining at the end of the month.
Looks like we will be keeping our Sprint 15 at Whitwell Watersports centre on Rutland rather than joining Rutland Sailing Club (about 1/2 the price, closer to home and anyway we can't get to much racing at RSC as I work on Sundays).
