Seasalter "Here We Come"

Post by Brian Phipps »

H All Sprint 15 sailors, the Seasalter SP15 event is coming up fast and it is one of the events Windsport is supporting with the Windsport support trailer.
Paul Chatfield will be your Windsport Support person. He will have an extensive range of class parts , but as always if there is something you know you need delivered to the event, please order, online, before the 14th April and we will make sure it is packed and in the trailer ready for collection on the day.
I am sure you will give Paul a warm welcome and if he gets the chance he plans to join in some of the races.

So please order any start of season parts by the 14th April to ensure collection at Seasalter and free delivery.
Looking for a great turnout!!
Brian

Many thanks for the support Brian.

I have e-mailed the local clubs to let them know the trailer will be coming and to get their orders to you before 14th.

NOR should be up shortly.

Steve,

I realise you've said the NoR will be available soon, but will the Saturday 1st Race be starting at 12:00hrs (ie standard Sprint15 Summer Traveller start time) or do the tides mean a different, esp earlier, start time?

I'm ok at the moment, so I am really keen to sail at Seasalter as my first summer traveller event since 2013!!!

Hi George,

As usual our tides provide the constraint.

Briefing Saturday 10:55 am , first race about 11:20

Glad to hear you are aiming to get on the water - we will see what we can do in terms of weather this year !

best wishes

Hi David et al,

yes, no problem. The club will be open from about 5pm on Friday and the bar will be open later. Anyone wanting to arrive earlier can call me or Joan - numbers on the NOR.

Looks to be a good steady wind for the weekend. Fingers crossed.....
I will be at club to keep bar open for late comers on Friday evening (oh and Saturday!). Come along and enjoy the sunset with a beer or 2. We can talk all things sailing as we look forward to a fun and competitive weekend.

Will be down at the weekend but won't be sailing due to the Swimathon being on the Saturday, its for a charity that's very pertinent to me at the moment.
