Isle of Sheppey TT - 18th and 19th May

Post by Jenny Ball »

Hi All

Next up (apart from Carnac) is the Isle of Sheppey TT in Kent on 18th and 19th May.

Briefing at 10:30am with first race scheduled for 12. Three races Saturday and 3 on Sunday. The club are also hosting a Cherub event that weekend (different course).

NOR is now up - https://www.sprint15.com/events/EMS/event.php?id=187

IoS SC also have a really useful page of links for booking accommodation - please see here: http://www.iossc.org.uk/go.php?op=events&pg=-sprints

There is an inexpensive campsite about 10 mins walk from the club - and various b&bs and hotels in the area.

We look forward to seeing you all there!

Just over a week to go until our next TT at Isle of Sheppey! As it is a new host venue for us (at least in recent memory) - it would be good if we could support them with a decent turnout.

The club have confirmed that boats can be dropped off on Friday afternoon/evening for anyone travelling up the night before.

See you there!

Pictures are up. There's more on the Facebook if you want to see some tippy mono-hulls with parachutes.

No idea of results as we dashed away to catch a ferry but somebody on 2018 won.

Still waiting for full results from the host club - but can confirm the following rankings:

1st - Paul Grattage
2nd - Liam Thom
3rd - Jenny Ball
4th - Ed Tuite-Dalton
5th - Yvonne Pike

Will post the full results as soon as we have them. And, as no-one else volunteered to write the report - there will be a report when I get round to writing one. Fourth one I have written out of Six events this year. Just saying.
But the photos are up and really good!

Thanks!
