Windsport Multihull Regatta July 2019 Heads Up

Post by Brian Phipps »

A heads up to all Sprint 15 sailors racers and social sailors, the Windsport multihull regatta week will be taking place from the 22-26th July.
The on-water and shore based activity will be a regatta style not a championships, with the focus on fun and involvement for everyone, sailors, wives, partners , friends, family. Over the 5 days there will be opportunity to join a number of regatta style races, harbour raids and sailing adventures out of the harbour and along the coast. A number of the lunch time stop overs will be places where family and friends can meet you by road or the Falmouth harbour ferries , for a pub lunch / pint and pastie, there will even be the option to take a day out and go off to do something else!
So this is a true multihull regatta and you are all welcome, camping is available on site, the boat park is big and you can sail at any state of the tide and day.
The event and the opportunity to enter will be launched at the dinghy show, but if you are keen to join us we suggest you send Windsport an email to receive priority event information.
The max entry is limited to 40 multihulls ( anything with two or more hulls that is beach launched) so give Windsport a call to find out more or get yourself on the priority list.

Hi Brian, this sounds a great idea. A bit like the 15's well tried format at Pentewan. I'm seeing what other family members are available.
Cheers. Keith

Thx Keith, we have already had a really good response from other Sprint 15 sailors and other catamaran sailors out there.
It is shaping up to be a really fun event and our team is looking forward to it.
More info on or before the dinghy show !

And it’s the TT at Royal Western Yacht Club at Plymouth on 20th and 21st July - so you will be more than half way there already!!
