Hi Brian,
Yes that is the one. I could not find it - it is funny that it is in a separate section ( ropes and lines) where as the standard one is under blocks and cleats. Sorry to have missed it but it would be good to have the options in the same section of your website.

Bob
The picture of the arrangement was in the Summer 2002 magazine page 14. It also lists examples of the parts used.
I'll scan it and send Liam a copy to post on the web site.
Sorry I missed this post. Yes we authorised a much better (optional) 3:1 arrangement with turning blocks and cam cleats many moons ago. It is covered in out rules section 10 amendment "j) Downhaul - Three to one assembly with cleating and turning blocks" Many boat have this set-up. Windspo...
Kev, Yes Liam is correct BUT if you are not sailing in a Sprint 15 event and sailing in a Catamaran Event under the SCHRS handicaps the double handed Sprint 15 has a slightly different rating to the single handed boat.

Hi James, good to hear that you are well. To get my mail address try the one in the contacts section of this web site.I sent the article to Liam so maybe he will add it to the web site( his heart is not into adding outboard motors...... :? ). James,
I tried sending it to your old email but it bounced. I did also send it to our web master so maybe he will put it on the website......
Cheers
Bob
Hi James, Yes of course. It was in the Summer 1994 magazine. I have just scanned it. Have you still got your old email address or has it changed? I'll send you a copy. I'll also sent it to Liam to put on this website. Regards Bob PS Hope that you are fit and well and enjoying retirement. PPS Pleased...
My word. Our secondhand boats have been flying off the shelf (or the website). This bodes well for the fleet activities...
Bob
PS This would be a good time for those that have a Sprint 15 they are not using to advertise it, if they want a quick sale.
Did anyone see the Channel 4 programme on Devon and Cornwall last night at 8pm? There was a long bit on Brian Phipps hang gliding with his brother. He can still do it after a 30 year lay off. You can get it on catch-up.
Nice one, Brian
Just got mine. What a fantastic magazine in a time that there has been no sailing for 3 months. Well done to Yvonne and all the contributors. Nice to see some gems from Phil Breeze too.
I wonder how many classes can put out such a magazine to their members?
