Many of the fiberglass sleeves being used were made when the boat was a single hander with no jib or trapeze or extra down haul purchase. Whilst the boat specification has changed creating much greater mast compression loads, the original fiberglass sleeves have not been upgraded in most instances. ...

Hi , As with many things there are + & - to adding a window. The original design did not include a window to deliver max durability. I understand the class association updated the rule to allow a window as a optional visual safety feature. Whilst a window will provide a limited amount of improve...

When repairing glass work it is worth knowing that the resins used to laminated Sprint 15 hulls and rudder blades is polyester based. Epoxy will glues and resins w...
Sprint 15 sailors who have been licking their lips over a new boat , but just can’t bridge the gap to a new “out of the box boat” via the class associations "Winter New Boat Special Deal" read on. The Windsport race boat 2015 is up for grabs , it comes with everything that makes you fast a...

If you want to align your hulls you pack either the main beam or rear beam thrust pads depending on what you are truing to achieve. Hull alignment is interesting but constructive time on the...
If you are thinking of a NEW sail or even a NEW boat for next season you may want to hold off for a couple of months to see what super pre-season package Windsport will be offering via the Sprint 15 class association. Of course you will need to be a Sprint 15 class association member, but then all S...
