I have added the under 25s, over 70s and classic boat sub-competition tables for the Nationals results starting with Thorpe Bay and Shanklin . If I have mis-aged anybody please let me know. I have also added the tables for classic boats for Nationals starting with Pentewan in 2013. This won't effect...

Re: Stewartby Winter TT - 11th November

Thank you for Stewartby for putting on such a good event and turning out all the local Dart 15s to race in the sunshine.

Well done to Scott for getting Baby Dart right amongst the shiny new boats.

Re: Trapeze lines

According to our rules the wire should be between 3863 and 3883mm.

The bottom of the metal ring should be somewhere near the deck for trapezing when going to windward.

But you should be able to shorten it for lighter conditions and lengthen it for reaching.

Re: Trapeze bungee length.

Amazingly we have rules for these things. Although nobody cares and nobody is measuring.

Technically It has to be between 2m and 2.5m. It's going to be pretty tight if it's just 2m on a 2.13m wide boat.

2.5m is about right with a couple of bowlines.

As well as organising the event, sorting all the cups, sailing out of her skin and having to deal with tantrums and weather, Jenny has also written a report.

Re: Well done to our new National Champion

A very popular result. Jenny works so hard for the Association to make all these events happen and nobody is more deserving of the Championship.
