Re: Windsport at Marconi this weekend

Well done, Mark. It is a good place to win with the challenging tides.
The only places with more challenging tides that are or have been on the Dart 15 circuit are Gurnard and Instow in my opinion.

Well done to our new National Champion

Well done to Jenny Ball. Our first lady National Champion for 34 years. Linda Moss won in 1989 as a 2-up boat with Stuart Snell as crew. Jenny is our first ever single handed Lady Champion - a fantastic achievement, especially as she was the event organiser. It is really tough to organise the event ...

Re: Sad News

Alan was a super guy and it is very sad to hear of his passing. It was as a result of Alan’s enthusiasm that we had the Open Dinghy Club on the Dart 15 traveller circuit and we were proud to have this venue in our programme. It was very amateur and very friendly and completely unlike any venue tha...

Re: Sport Nationals

Well done Liam. Another fine result. Next year you could go for the Grand Slam ( 2 Nationals, Northern, Southern, and Inlands all in the same year). If you win Grafham you will be 80% of the way in 2022.....

Re: How to fix corroded mast

That sounds serious. I would start by using duck tape. At least it will not catch on/ tear the sails like an aluminium plate would. It might give your mast a bit more life. It could give you time to save up for a replacement mast, even if it is second hand one. After all if your mast is the original...

Re: Looking for a February Winter TT venue

Is Marconi or Stone an option? They both have good size home fleets.

Bob
PS Brightlingsea could be another option
