Hi Steve,
Could i have a NOR and entry form for the Seasalter event?
Also, am i still a member or am i going to have to give you money as well as the 15 association? Remember, every £ i give you is a £ off my degree.

Actually thats a lie, every £ i give is a £ less in the pub.
Cheers

As soon as i get home the polisher will be whirring. Which won't be for a while. Conferences in Italy, week long theatre "work" in Scarborough, then i have to apparently do some degree work for a couple of weeks. Tough times. But i'll be back around the 19th April. The pubs had better be r...

What? I have competition in the old boat repairing/breaking game? Disgusting. *Quickly goes on ebay search for knackered boats* Uni goes well, apparently we have some little "tests" coming up but i think it's all smoke and mirrors. The little dinghies get everywhere. Happy Seasalter sailin...

Sounds good, but without a boat i would only be a viewer. Not that i would mind but sailing has never been much of a spectator sport as anyone who understands whats going on tends to be sailing out there themselves.
I will keep in contact about it
Many thanks

Swanage sounds like good fun.
And a winter TT at Carsington would be great -not too far to come from Durham, if i can get a boat there.

Hi all Just to quickly point out (before all the Carsington sailors find out how very very poor my lake sailing is- i get confused when there are no waves) that i am fully prepared for the thrashing i am going to get, not only due to my comment about how easy lake sailing is, but also due to my poor...

Rollers on the back beam are very useful and the skegs seem perfectly strong (even on my old tub) to stand up to the increase in pressure on them. The rollers do mean that you can get the cat off the trailer by yourself, which is very useful when you turn up back at the sailing club and there is no ...

Thanks Charles.
I think my jib will be there. But my tramp is looking a little worse for wear so i need to sort that out first. If only i had the cash for Nick Dewhirst's gennaker (or as he told the people at Sheppey, his very big jib), theni would be able to do something.
Crash probably.

Carsington

Yes, Seasalter are heading North.
All this lake business sounds easy, no tides, no waves, piece of piddle.
But how do we enter early?
I would quite like to save the fiver for essential provisioning of myslef with alcoholic warmth (i understand it can be alittle chilly up there).

It was nice to see a certain young Halifax lad wearing his Seasalter T-shirt at the Nationals.
He must be going soft, Steve.
