Re: Latest Magazine

It was mxmariner that I used, there are various ones. Has charts on it too. Am moving there so won't be bringing the dart 18 back but have a few other 18s, the 15 and a yacht to sail over eventually

Re: Grafham Winter TT cancelled for this weekend

Just wondered if a decision on rescheduling had been made yet? I am delaying taking 2018 back to Brightlingsea in case it gets rescheduled soon and I can tie in dropping it off. Also I can't make Oxford so will have to arrange posting the trophy.

Lost jacket at Marconi

I think I left my purple barbour jacket in the changing rooms or upstairs lounge at Marconi probably along with my bottle of red wine. Would appreciate if anyone finds it they could give it to someone who is going to Sheppy.

Thanks

Re: Thorpe Bay Winter TT - Saturday 2nd February

Just wondered what the max wind speed they sail in at Thorpe Bay so I can make an informed decision whether to come on the day?

Re: One design Sprint 15

You need to look further than overall results to see the impact of the new boats. Look at the results of the last nationals before the new boats at Brightlingsea . https://www.sprint15.com/events/EMS/event.php?id=89 The winner has 17 points. Compare to the next year at Thorpe bay the winner has 4 po...

Re: Rudder blades pop up

Hadn't thought about that the rudders when hung up in the sail loft are not up or down so the spring is at maximum compression. They were actually worse on the reach and run but even came up upwind occasionally.

Re: One design Sprint 15

That was meant to say 37kg. Boats in the colours of double trouble seem to be around that weight. I don't know the weights of any of the other new boats

Re: One design Sprint 15

I'd disagree with Liam. Why should Will have to buy a new boat if his is heavy? If his sail is old he can get a new one, they aren't cheap and definitely perform better than an old Spark sails. I've had a boat that had one hull weighing 41kg and the other 40. I believe the new boats are around 29kg ...

Re: Battle of the classes at Southampton Boat Show

That explains why David Lloyd's Dart 18, the A class and Unicorn have also disappeared from the entry list

Entries have been closed with no warning and I didn't get mine in so I won't be attending unfortunately.

Left hat at Grafham

I left my hat similar to Image by the waterbutt nearest the club house where we wash off the boats. If anyone finds it I will be at most of the other events this year.

Thanks

Lost yellow sailing watch

I think I have left my yellow sailing with at Oxford possibly on the grass near where we rigged the boats. If anyone has found it would be greatful If you let me know.

Re: Eurocat 2014 Update (European Champ)

Would have possibly made me interested in going but unfortunately I am training to be a teacher so will only be able to do events in the school holidays from now on..
