Re: Mast heel/base ?

Looks like it is time to call Windsport. Maybe Brian Phipps or Ian Fraser can recall if any early Sparks had Dart 18 section masts.....

Re: Mast heel/base ?

Hi,
No it is not a Sting, just an old Spark which was the earlier name for a Dart 15.
The Mast Heel casting is on the Windsport website under Catparts/Dart 15/Mast etc
https://www.windsport.co.uk/wordpress/product/21038/
It is part number SKU 21038 (or alternatively D00541) and is £63.06
Regards
Bob

That's Erling Holmberg's old boat. He would have been amused to know he was sailing a Flying Pig. He was very happy about having James Bond's sail number... :-)

It was good to see that Steve Petts was blowing off the cobwebs 1934.
Did he stay upright?

Sorry, I did not make it to Grafham this weekend to support the class for the Cat Open and for a chat. I seem to have gone down with a bug. Ange blames the Covid & Flu jabs we had last week. Normal service will be resumed next time...... Regards Bob PS The weather looked very light. Did we manag...

But it looks like you missed most of the races. Was it too windy? You used to be a tough nut in windy conditions....
