The Saundersfoot Sailing Club is one of the classes favoured National Championship venues. We have been there three times (1994,1998 & 2007).The club is small and friendly and is on Saundersfoot harbour which is adjacent to a large protected East facing sandy bay. There are both holiday flats and campsites in easy walking distance of the club. In periods of neaps tides the boats can be left on the beach overnight.

In periods of spring tides boats have to be manhandled up to a field which is at the North end of the beach (much better to go near neaps). Tenby and Cauldey Island are easy sailing distance and nice cruising targets for fun days.
There is not a local fleet of Sprint 15s.

Saundersfoot is a lovely seaside town with a wide sandy beach about 3miles from picturesque Tenby. It is a very popular seaside holiday location and there are a number of holiday flats directly overlooking the beach and many cottages nearby but you have to book these early. They mostly are available for Saturday – Saturday bookings. There are many camping and caravanning sites nearby and one is in walking distance of the beach. For the non-sailors there are lots of things to do and see in the area. Tenby, St David’s, Pembroke, Caldey Island & its Monastery are all worth visiting.
