Stewartby Water Sports has seen resurgent interest in Sprint 15 sailing over the last 3 years with the home fleet standing currently at 17 boats. The widely adopted format is una-rig with sport mode is still popular.

Stewartby is a former clay pit for the brick making industry. It’s 240 acres and location within an large open country park make it an ideal location for cat sailing. The culture is that of a friendly, family orientated club with a keen and growing membership. Sailing happily co-exists alongside waterskiing and powerboat racing with weekend club racing taking place on the large sailing area on the west side of the lake.

Our popular Winter TT event takes place each November over the whole lake and where tradition dictates that everyone goes home with a prize for their efforts. Our members commitment to the class has led to the club hosting a number of successful ‘teach-ins’ over the last few years.

The club is easily accessible from both the M1 (Junction 13) and the A1 (Black Cat Roundabout) via the newly completed A421 dual carriageway. Take the Marston Moretaine junction (adjacent to the Little Chef) and then turn left towards Stewartby. Green Lane will be the 2nd turning on the right with the club entrance about ¾ mile further down just before the level crossing.
