Beaver SC

Beaver S.C. has the most competitive Dart 15 fleet in the country, where they sail on an inland reservoir of approximately 80 acres, and at the moment they have a dozen hardy enthusiasts, most of whom turn out regularly to do battle on the water. For the 2003 season, ex. National Champion John Postlethwaite is returning to strengthen the team with a brand new Monte-Carlo edition, while current member Steve Hanby and new boy Ken Harvey will also be sporting new Monte-Carlos. New team members from the 2002 season are Matthew Smith, Neil Storr, Nathan Cooke and Dave Fleming, who should soon present a formidable force, to complement the rest of the team. These include Paul Smith, Richard Hanby, Austin Flather, Barrie Hoggard and Pete Richardson, all helping to keep the competition tight, raising the already high racing standards still further, whilst providing exciting enjoyable racing for all, including the spectators.

They are a very friendly fleet, always ready to assist with help, advice and encouragement all round, and can regularly be seen on the open meeting circuit, when they usually come away with most of the spoils.

If you want to sharpen up your tacks and tactics, then Beaver is the place to go, so why not consult the map and pay them a visit any Sunday as they always put on a nail-biting show, and would be pleased to welcome any potential new recruits to the fleet.

It is situated approximately 16 miles North-East of Doncaster .
